SHS Volleyball Booster Club

1.     The Club shall raise financial support to build the volleyball program in the Stillwater secondary schools. This financial support can be used for purchases of durable equipment, facilities, and other forms of financial assistance according to the needs defined by the coaches, school administrators, and the Club.

Board Positions

1. Vice-President/President-Elect - The Vice-President/President-Elect shall, in the absence of the President, fulfill the duties of that office. The Vice-President/President-Elect will become the President for the following year. He/She will also serve such duties as from time to time are assigned him/her by the Officers of the Club and have authority to sign checks.

2.   Secretary - The Secretary shall issue notice to all directors of Officers of meetings and shall attend and keep the minutes of all Officers meetings and meetings of the Club and shall have charge of all association books, records, and papers. He/She shall attest all written contracts, mortgages, deeds, and similar instruments of the Club and shall perform all other such duties as are incidental to the office.

3. Treasurer - The Treasurer shall have custody of all monies and securities of the Club. He/She shall maintain adequate books of record. He/She can individually prepare checks for monetary disbursements. The Treasurer shall prepare an annual budget by May 31 of the current school year and quarterly financial reports to be approved by the board.

Committee’s

Membership Committee.  Responsible for the annual membership drive solicitation.  The committee will have responsibility for maintaining a current membership roster.  Work closely with Officers for financial accounting and roster updates.  Provide membership information to sources of publication (refer to Article III, Membership). 

Fundraising Committee.  Responsible for fund-raising activities of the Club.

Advertising and Promotions.  Responsible for organizing and evaluating all forms of advertising and promotional activities designed to increase public   awareness and interest in SHS volleyball.

Special Events.  The Co-Chairs of this committee will be responsible for organizing and overseeing several Ad-Hoc committees including but not limited to: Senior Night, Banquet and Tournament hospitality rooms(2).
